"Jaswinder is an NRI living in America and wants to permanently settle there. In order to fulfil this wish of his, he marries Sally and gains citizenship of the USA. However, back home in India, Jaswinders family arranges his marriage with Richa. When Jaswinder refuses to come back to India, the family feigns a heart attack suffered by his father.
